About us

My Instore Radio is a tech company which provides background music and digital signage solutions to stores, restaurants, and hotels around the world. Founded in 2011, My Instore Radio has 9 employees, including Developers, Supporters, Music Manager and Sales Representatives. Three of our colleagues are based at our office in Los Angeles, US.

My Instore Radio shares an office space with AVdesign in Billund, and in total we employ about 28 skilled colleagues of various nationalities.

About the role

The role requires a deep understanding of T-SQL and experience in developing stored procedures, triggers, and functions. The ideal candidate has great experience in Microsoft SQL, and knowledge of Microsoft Azure SQL will be preferred. We value innovative thinking and a natural interest in optimization in general. 

You will be a sparring partner for both our sales and support department.       

Additionally, knowledge of SQLite would absolutely be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • In-depth work with business logic in the backend part.
  • Further development and optimization of our SQL database.
  • Handling system requests from our support department.
  • Fully responsible, together with the rest of the team, for development in total runs as planned and to our customers’ expectations.

About you

You are a dedicated professional with a positive attitude and a collaborative mindset. The workplace language is English, so fluency in Danish is not required, but we expect strong written and oral English communication skills. 

You have technical flair and are able to both immerse yourself in your work and exude a friendly and outgoing demeanor. 

You also have a natural ability to take professional responsibility for your team’s performance.

The position is permanent. Working hours are 37 hours per week. 

The role is based in Billund, Denmark. We value physical presence in the office where collaboration and professional sparring takes place, but we are also open to remote working.
