Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) Manager for SUN-AIR of Scandinavia A/S

Then you are our new Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) Manager.
As Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) Manager at SUN-AIR of Scandinavia you are offered an exciting and responsible position. Your primary tasks will be planning and following-up on maintenance tasks carried out on our aircraft. You will have the managerial responsibility of keeping our aircraft in good condition at all times in order to carry out our operation safe and on time.
You will be responsible for ensuring that current rules and regulations in SUN-AIR’s CAMO comply with SUN-AIR’s CAME.
Your further tasks / areas of responsibilities will be:
- Oversee all standard airworthiness management functions
- Responsible for documentation management of all aircraft
- Responsible for long-term planning and budgeting of aircraft maintenance
- LEAN innovation as well as optimizing business processes in the CAMO
- Responsible for the technical dialogue with the aviation authorities (Trafikstyrelsen, EASA, DCAA, SACAA etc.)
- Responsible for keeping the group’s aircraft airworthy and updated with all technical requirements
- Responsible for absolute minimizing of operating loss on aircraft during maintenance
- Refers to Accountable Manager and COO at SUN-AIR Technic
- Ad hoc tasks for SUN-AIR Technic
We expect,
you to have experience from a similar position with management responsibility and have at least five years of relevant working experience whereof two of them in an administrative position within the airline industry. You have the necessary knowledge of quality - and maintenance systems and have a mindset where IT is a significant part of your daily work. Professionally you have a broad technical knowledge and experience from aviation.
You will be the Nominated Postholder for the CAMO with leadership responsibility for the department. If you are a trained aircraft technician and have a type certificate for or knowledge on at least level 1 on one or more of our aircraft types (DO328-300, Hawker 800XP, J31/J32, Hawker 400 or Hawker 4000) that will be an advantage.
As a person you have a good sense of humor and take pride in delivering first class service for everyone. You have good communication and leadership skills and can motivate your employees through trust and delegation. You are not afraid to challenge the status quo and you have a basic knowledge of economics and a sound business practice. You are solution oriented, and you always deliver a first-class product. You are familiar with Microsoft Office, and you speak and write both Danish and English.
Limited but some travel activity will be expected for this position.
Please note that you should be able to get a residence and work permit that allows you to live and work in Denmark.
